Selections for the Andhra Pradesh kabaddi team will be held at Kakinada on June 29. Selected team will represent the state in the Yuva Kabaddi League (YKL), informed Y Srikanth, secretary, Andhra Kabaddi Association on Sunday.

AP shooter M Uma Mahesh bagged one gold and two silver medals in the Surendra Singh Memorial National shooting championship in Kerala recently, informed N Subrahmanyeswara Rao of the Indian Academy of shooting, Vijayawada. Mahesh won gold medal in 10m air rifle peep sight in seniors and silver medals in the junior and youth categories. CISCE rifle shooting: The TS & AP state 62nd CISCE rifle shooting championship for boys and girls of U-14, U-17 and Uwas inaugurated by Colonel RP Singh at Little Flowers school Vidyanagar, Guntur. Sister Amalavathi, principal, Little Flowers school, organising secretary PD S Venkataswarulu were present. A total of 78 shooters are participating.
